The building located at 6026 Main St. appeared on the 1912 map as a billiard room. On the 1949 map it is known as Lords Drug Store. For some time after that and into the early 2000’s it was Mountain Candle.

The Hunter Foundation purchased the building in 2014. Major construction began to rectify the deterioration of the building. After being approached by Greene County Economic Development and Planning, we were introduced to the owners of Hudson Chatham Winery. The owners of the winery were very interested in coming to Tannersville, so a beautiful space was created for a tasting room and outdoor patio. Hudson Chatham Winery Tannersville opened its doors in July 2015 and closed in 2020.

There are currently two wonderful businesses in the building. Sundry, a mountaintop purveyor of home goods, apothecary items, and essentials for a life well lived. The shop is open Friday-Sunday! Shandaken Bake, serving the best homemade treats weekly. The bakery is open Saturday and Sunday, and the occasional night bakery during the week!
