HUNTER FOUNDATION RESPONDS TO COVID-19

Recommends “Social Distancing”

March 15, 2020 (Tannersville, NY) — Today, the Hunter Foundation’s Executive Director released the following statement:

“We are taking the recommendations of the CDC and the New York State Department of Health very seriously,” stated Sean Mahoney, Executive Director. “We encourage everyone to practice social distancing which is intended to stop or slow down the spread of a highly contagious disease. Our staff will be available for any questions or concerns by phone or email. It is important that we take these measures to slow or stop the spread of COVID-19 in our communities.”

  • The Antique Annex & Antique Center will be closed March 15th-21st, with future operational hours to be announced.
  • Colonial Golf Course opening announcement TBD. Members are welcome to walk the course and maintain appropriate social distancing protocols.
  • The Farm Stand at Fromer Market Gardens continues to have limited produce available on Saturday’s from 9am-3pm. No unauthorized members of the community are allowed in the Barn or Greenhouse until further notice. Produce will be available for purchase through the window at the stand during Saturday’s market time.
